RIX is a company with a history of more than 110 years since its founding in 1907 (Meiji 40). At the beginning of its founding, it started with the sale of tabi, and after supplying the underground jika-tabi to the government-owned Yahata Steel Works, it has expanded its business to various industries, including the steel industry.
In addition, as we expanded our business, we set up a manufacturing department to manufacture and sell products bearing our own brand “ROCKY”, including rotary joints (product name: ROCKY JOINT). In addition to being a trading company, we are also a manufacturer. We are also actively expanding overseas and have 11 bases overseas (8 sales companies, 3 manufacturing companies).

Today, we call ourselves a “customer-oriented manufacturing & trading company” that handles production goods such as equipment, parts, and consumables used at the production sites of our customers, major manufacturers. Being close to our customers makes it easier for us to understand their problems and needs, and we procure solutions that solve these problems not only from our own manufacturing divisions but also from various suppliers, and provide them to our customers globally.In addition, we can create various solutions such as collaboration and systemization proposals for the products of each supplier company. One of the strengths of a customer-oriented manufacturing & trading company is its high ability to solve problems.

Going forward, we will actively introduce the latest IT and AI technologies and refine these strengths. By speedily providing the solutions our customers want, we will strive to become a partner in problem solving. In addition to sales to our suppliers, we will provide feedback on customer feedback and provide information on product improvement and development. By doing so, we would like to strive to improve our overall problem-solving capabilities.
