What is a Rotary Joint for Spindle Shaft Cooling in Machine Tools?
This rotary joint is used to supply fluid to the inside of a built-in motor (machining spindle) of a machine tool.
In general, only the stationary housing side is cooled.
However, by using a rotary joint for spindle shaft cooling,
fluid can be supplied to the rotating spindle shaft itself, enabling internal cooling of the spindle shaft.
