- Longer-life bearing built-in rotating union have been realized(patented). In the bearing-built in rotating union demonstrating excellent maintainability and replaceability, earlier bearing damage has conventionally become a problem especially due to vibration or leakage of coolant when it is used at a vertical position. The LX series has realized surprisingly longer life because of its improved bearing support and drain discharge constructions.
- This seal can endure even mingling of chips and foreign matter. The Rocky Joint has adopted extremely rugged carbonized silicon, which has excellent self-lubrication properties. It can be used with ease for a long time with coolant in situations where it is impossible to avoid chip minglement.
- Even without a coolant, it can provide high-speed operation. In high-speed operation without coolant being fed through, heat generation on the seal is a problem. The LX series incorporates an automatic seal operating / closing mechanism and can be used with ease even with high-speed operation in which no coolant is fed through.
- With adoption of our unique seal shape, it can not only provide ultra high speed dry operation but it also can be used with high-pressure coolant, further, it realizes no-leakage operation.
